Rust2Dakar is a charity rally organised by two Italian NGOs: Bambini nel deserto and Tavolo 8.
Team Traders for Africa wants to raise money and to bring its vehicle to Dakar, donate it to the local chapter of the NGOs and finance further local projects.
As an example, Bambini nel Deserto has funded Garage Italia, a vocational school in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.
At Garage Italia, students will learn a professional job as motorcycle mechanics.
The project was financed mainly by Motul Corazòn foundation , owned by Motul , a French company world leader in motorcycle lubricants.
Individuals developing skills are a key factor to success for a country growth.
As a Traders for Africa Team, we strongly believe in school and in on-the-job education as a way to progress.
We would like to think that our little effort could help a student to get the education he or she deserves.
